Privacy policy

In short: SyncRows works inside your Google account. It reads the sheet you open it in and manages only the calendars it creates for you. Your sheet and calendar content never leave Google. The only personal data SyncRows stores on its own server is your email address and your plan.
1. Who is responsible for your data
SyncRows is operated by Víctor Martínez García, based in Valls (Tarragona), Spain ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at any time at support@syncrows.app.
2. What SyncRows is
SyncRows is an add-on for Google Sheets that turns spreadsheet rows into events in Google Calendar and keeps both in sync. It runs as a Google Apps Script add-on inside your Google account.
3. Google user data SyncRows accesses
When you install SyncRows, Google asks you to grant the following permissions. SyncRows uses each one only for the purpose described.

4. How SyncRows uses Google user data
- Sheet and calendar content (titles, dates, descriptions, locations, guests) is processed only inside Google's infrastructure, by the add-on running in your account, to perform the sync you configured.
- SyncRows stores its settings (column mapping, chosen calendar, last sync state) in your spreadsheet and in Apps Script properties that belong to your account.
- We do not copy your sheet or calendar content to our own servers, and we do not read it ourselves.
- We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to develop, improve or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine learning models.
- We do not allow humans to read Google user data, except with your explicit consent for a specific support request, when necessary for security purposes or to comply with the law.
SyncRows' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Data stored on our servers
Our licence server stores:
- your Google account email address,
- your plan (Free or Pro), its status and renewal date,
- the identifier of your subscription with our payment provider.
We use this to give Pro features to paying customers. The licence server runs on Google Cloud in the European Union.
6. Payments
Pro payments will be handled by a third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record. We will name the provider on this page before we start taking payments. When you buy Pro, you will give your payment details directly to them; we never see or store your card details. The provider tells us only your email address and the status of your subscription. Their own privacy policy applies to the data they collect.
7. Legal basis
We process your data to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract), and to meet our tax and accounting obligations for payments (legal obligation).
8. How long we keep data
- Licence data: while you have an account with us, and up to 12 months after your last subscription ends, unless you ask us to delete it earlier.
- Payment records: for as long as tax law requires.
- Settings stored in your own sheet and Apps Script properties: until you remove them or uninstall the add-on.
9. Sharing
We share data only with the providers needed to run the service: Google (hosting of the add-on and the licence server) and, once Pro is available, our payment provider (payments). We do not share data with anyone else, except when required by law.
10. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your personal data, or object to its processing, by writing to support@syncrows.app. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or to your local authority.
11. How to remove SyncRows and its access
- Uninstall the add-on from Google Sheets: Extensions, Add-ons, Manage add-ons.
- Revoke its access to your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Calendars created by SyncRows stay in your Google Calendar until you delete them.
- To delete your licence data, email support@syncrows.app.
12. Cookies
This website does not use cookies or analytics. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
13. Children
SyncRows is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
14. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell Pro customers by email before it takes effect.
